THE SAINT RUE is a Nigerian-American singer/songwriter that weaves Britpop, soul, and folk music into his trademark sound.

One of the most eclectic figures to debut in 2025, The Saint Rue is a multilingual indie artist blending folk, soul and cinematic storytelling. Classically trained on violin and fluent in seven languages, he crafts songs that speak to wandering, memory, and the beauty of feeling lost. Born in California with Nigerian roots, Rue has lived across Europe and the U.S., building a sound that's global yet deeply personal.

Now based in Los Angeles, he performs weekly and is steadily building toward a series of releases for Neon Blues Records. His debut single "Love You Mad" marked the start of a concept-driven rollout combining 90s-inspired visuals, live performances, and multilingual interviews. Whether writing in hotel rooms or performing from the bed of his electric truck, Rue embraces the tension between solitude and connection.

He cites Radiohead, Chris Martin, and Jeff Buckley as influences, but his voice is unmistakably his own: warm, wounded, and resolute.
